Host Your Website for Free: GitHub Pages, Netlify & Cloudflare Pages

You do not need paid hosting to publish your site. Here are 3 free ways — with HTTPS, a free subdomain and custom domain support.
If your site is HTML, CSS and JavaScript (or React / Vue after a build), you can put it online for free in minutes.
1) GitHub Pages
Create a GitHub account and a new repository named yourname.github.io. Upload your files (an index.html is required). In Settings, Pages, pick the main branch and Save. A minute later it is live at yourname.github.io.
2) Netlify
Open app.netlify.com/drop and drag your site folder onto the page. In seconds you get a link like yoursite.netlify.app. With an account you can rename it and connect your domain.
3) Cloudflare Pages
In the Cloudflare dashboard choose Workers & Pages, Create, Pages. Connect GitHub or upload files directly. Your site goes live at yoursite.pages.dev on Cloudflare's global network, so it loads fast everywhere.
Important
These three are for static sites. If you need PHP and a database (a store, an admin panel), you need regular hosting or a server.
Your own domain
All three let you add your domain in settings; update the DNS at your registrar as shown and HTTPS is enabled automatically.
