REA: The Tool That Lets AI Rebuild Any App

What is REA? REA (Reverse Engineer Anything) is an open-source tool trending on GitHub. It gives your AI coding agent (Claude Code, Cursor or Codex) everything it needs to analyze any app and understand how it works inside.

What does it do? It breaks the app down: screens, buttons and every feature.

It explains how each part works.

It doesn't guess: it tests what it finds and verifies it.

Then the AI can rebuild the same feature in your project, step by step.

What you need An AI coding agent like Claude Code, Cursor or Codex (not the regular ChatGPT chat).

Node.js installed on your machine.

Installation 1. Open a terminal in your project folder.

2. Run: npx skills add morluto/rea

3. Open Claude Code and ask: Set up REA

4. Setup may install Hopper, a separate program with its own license.

How to use it Tell your agent: Reverse engineer this app and explain how its main feature works, then rebuild it in my project.

Important Only install it from the official GitHub page (button below). Fake copies appeared after it went viral, and one contained malware.
